Hello! I’m Angela Figueroa, the heart and soul behind Angela Marie Photography. Based in Lonsdale, MN. My goal is simple: to create images that tell your story in the most genuine and beautiful way possible.
Photography, to me, has always been more than pressing a button. It’s about storytelling, emotion, and connection. Every family, every couple, and every individual has a unique story worth remembering. Through my lens, I seek to capture the quiet glances, the bursts of laughter, the tender embraces, and even the stillness between moments. These details may seem small, but they hold the memories you’ll want to cherish for years to come.
I’ve always been drawn to the kind of moments you can’t rehearse — the candid ones that feel unscripted and raw. Whether it’s a milestone session, an everyday love story, or expressive portraits, my passion is to craft images that feel heartfelt, honest, and timeless.
When I am not behind the camera, I am a dedicated full-time medical assistant. I love spending time with my family. My husband, Hector, my two sons (13 & 2), my two daughters (17 & 5) and my fur baby Gigi.
My approach
When you step in front of my camera, I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and seen. I take the time to get to know you, to learn what makes you laugh, and to understand what you value most. This allows me to create a session experience that is relaxed, natural, and fun — so the real you can shine through.
Technically, I combine an artistic eye with a deep understanding of light, composition, and editing. My style emphasizes natural beauty, gentle guidance, and storytelling through imagery. I aim for a balance: photographs that feel polished but never overdone, meaningful yet effortless.
